Helping Guardians Help Others Grant

You must live in, or adjacent to, Orange, Osceola or Seminole County, Florida.

The Grant Process

Our registration process is exactly the same as what you will find on the Office of Public and Professional Guardian's (OPPG) website. That is the Professional Guardian governing body, under the Department of Elder Affairs. We do not add any additional steps.

Our Reimbursement Model

Provide us with the receipt where you paid for the 40-hour class and passed, then we will reimburse you for it. Then the receipt where you registered for the state exam and passed, and we'll reimburse you for it. And so on until you are fully registered and ready to take cases. It varies slightly, but the total cost is about $1,000.00.

Once you are fully registered and ready to take cases, we ask that you take 2 Successor Guardian indigent cases and 2 court appointed indigent cases in Orange, Osceola and/or Seminole County in your first year. You will be compensated by the FLGSN model. The pace at which you take the cases is entirely up to you.
